Mayor Hardwick of Freeport, Ny 11520 is not a fan favorite and in most residents opinion and should be impeached and tossed over-board... literally!!! lol This was my first time attending a town hall meeting, and by the looks of the crowd we came and packed the place out! They are trying to lower the noise level from 85db to 65 db (db=decibels, a way a measuring sound levels) If that passes then there will be NO MORE BANDS/DJ's allowed to play on the mile being a normal conversation is between 60 db and 70 db. Pass the word and please share this video on your profile to support all the Bars that use entertainment to bring in patrons... or else the Nautical Mile will end up a retirement zone, this is not Boca Raton!!! If you move near train tracks you can't complain when you hear them right? It's the Nautical Mile, our Nautical Mile, we are proud to have it and must fight to keep it a happy destination for music, food, and entertainment!!!
